Bilateral Below Knee Amputee

Brandon has been a bi-lateral amputee most of his life and had experienced just about everything in terms of prosthetics and prosthetic service. His drive to excel as an amputee surpassed the level of prosthetic care and service he was receiving.

Like many amputees, he became frustrated with his prosthetic outcomes and decided to start searching for something better. His search led him to Fourroux Prosthetics.

“The word I would use is ‘Unbelievable,’” says Brandon, “I mean, it was just so far removed from what I was used to. I was used to a small office with literally one or two employees, maybe three. I was used to fairly limited equipment on site and supplies on site.”

“Everywhere I’ve ever been everybody’s been friendly and want everything to go well, the capability just wasn’t there.” continues Brandon. “When you walk into Fourroux, you just get the feeling that the possibilities are a whole other ballgame. You know, they’re just endless here.”

Brandon and the Fourroux staff worked together to get the right fit and the right componentry to allow him to do the everyday activities that he desired. He’s an avid golfer and outdoorsman, and is dedicated to spending time with his family. Having a prosthesis fit correctly and assist him in accomplishing these daily activities was extremely important to him.

“I’m very particular because my level of activity. I understand what I want and what I need. I’m not willing to settle for anything less than that,” says Brandon. “It takes a lot of patience both on the prosthetic company’s end, on Fourroux’s end, and my end of – alright let’s work together and get these things dialed in. Could I get used to it? Yes, but I want to get it exactly right so that I can do everything that I want to do and not be limited by the prosthetics in any way.”
