Our History

Fourroux was founded in 1956 by George Fourroux, Sr. to provide orthotics for North Alabama residents. Over the years, we have expanded into prosthetics and greatly increased in employees and service area. Fourroux Prosthetics now services prosthetics nationwide. Over the years, we have recognized the importance that physical therapy plays in creating successful outcomes for amputees. We have incorporated an internal Physical Therapy team into the scope of services that we provide. 

Fourroux Prosthetics is currently co-owned by Marvin Fourroux, son of the founder, and Keith Watson. For the past 50 years, Fourroux Prosthetics has been providing quality care to everyone who needs it.

Our dedicated staff and wonderful patients have made Fourroux Prosthetics what we are today. Since our establishment, our goal has been to build lifelong relationships with our patients and their families. By providing each patient with world class care and utilizing the most innovative techniques, Fourroux’s staff serves the needs of each individual patient.  At Fourroux Prosthetics, our dedicated and caring staff help individuals achieve the freedom and independence they deserve.
